White Hat SEO Techniques

white-hat-seo-techniquesGoogle sent you to this page because of one and only reason. The reason being that I successfully applied White Hat SEO techniques to make Google love my blog.

In this post, I will teach you exactly how I made this possible.

Without further ado, I’ll start right away…

SEO has three main areas:

1. Changes to a site’s code (referred to as “on-page factors”).
2. Getting links from other sites (referred to as “off-page factors”).
3. Choosing proper long tail keywords that bring millions of visitors to your site in no time.

The last point is the most important and the most ignored one by newbies. Choosing relevant and proper long tail keywords can shoot your site to the first page in search results and bring in load of targeted traffic.

Now let’s take a look at the techniques I applied to make my blog reach top results.
Apply them faithfully and you will see the results yourself. Guaranteed!

1.  Keywords ! Keywords ! Keywords !

This step can make or break your site. If you don’t research keywords properly, you can rest assured that your site will be nowhere to be found in search results. There is no sure way to tell which keywords work best for your site, but there are tools like Long Tail Pro which pick the right long-tail keywords which have less competition. I owe my keyword domination success to this product and recommend it to anyone who wants to take SEO seriously.

Include relevant and appropriate keywords or key phrases in the title and page heading. Keep the keyword density in you articles at a rate of 3-4% in-order to not look spammy to search engines. Also add links to your other articles with the keywords as your anchor text.

2. Use alternate words to your keywords

This is a continuation of the previous point. Search engines are getting smarter everyday. They not only index web pages according to the keywords that you specify explicitly, but also include synonyms and word variations so as to provide the most relevant content to their users.

3. Site Quality and Content

Create your site’s content around the long-tail keywords you found in step 1.
Create useful and comprehensive content that’s related to your market to keep your visitors there. Adding keyword-rich text that makes sense and serves the concept of the web page improves your ranking and keeps your visitors interested. The more text, the better for search engine spiders when they index a website, it is strongly recommended that your homepage has at least 200-300 “visible” words. Moreover, the search engine spiders crawl especially the first 20 words of your website so try to keep an eye on them and make them really relevant to what your site is about.

In addition, valuable, dense and regularly updated content is one of the most important items you need for your website because visitors who stay longer while visiting a website help measure the popularity of the site in the search engines. Therefore try to put at your homepage such elements, content of which you will change regularly, e. g. news, events, recent articles etc.

4.  Site Title

It is one of the most powerful SEO technique you have, so use it creatively! When search engine results are displayed the title is the first thing people see.
You need to make it easy for a search engine to figure out the topic of your page just from the title of your site but not necessarily.

5. Make sure your site is easy to navigate

This helps not only your blog readers, but also search engines. Submit your blog’s sitemap to Google’s webmaster tools to help in indexing your site accurately.

6. Link love

Get other sites to link to the content of your site as well as to the main page. This not only helps in increasing the Google page rank, but also increases your site traffic to huge amounts in no time and gain new readers.

This is just a brief overview of a huge debatable topic where different webmasters have different views.
